I’ve just added four new SHOOTING WAR prints to my shop; click the pic to have a look. And if there’s another panel you’d like to own, feel free to sound off in the comments. I am, as ever, listening intently.

Chris Radtke and I are making a beautiful baby together called 718 and it’s going to start dropping manga-beats on you once the last week of SHOOTING WAR hits. The bad news is that what you see here is not a cover; it’s actually just the first time the character’s jumped from sketchbrain to laptop; the good news is I’m gonna get LOOOOSE with this comic and do things I’ve never seen before and always wished someone else would.
The other good news is that we’re gonna give it to you on the digital for free, over on

So… what’s 718 about? I dropped some hints about 718 in this interview a while back, if you were paying attention. See you on the other side, kids.
Cartoonist laboratory ACT-I-VATE is adding new battalion of high-calibre ink-guns to its ranks soon; keep it locked to ACT-I-VATE to watch comix history in the making:

I just added a new short story to the PROSE tab, called Superman & Batman. Please to enjoy!
Tonight (8/14/06) at NYC’s People’s Improv Theater (aka The PIT), several members of your favorite comix posse will be appearing live as part of Frowned Upon’s THE COCKTAIL HOUR series. The talk-show format program will be videotaped for cable/internet (and linked to here soon), but if you’re in the city, drop on by. It’s gonna be cheap and funny, like our comix.

Guests include:
Jessica St. Clair (Best Week Ever, I Will Not Apologize)
ACT-I-VATE members: Dan Goldman, Dean Haspiel, Josh Neufeld, Nikki Cook, and Tim Hamilton
Brendan Donnelly
I did an interview with Tim Leong for the very excellent Comic Foundry magazine’s August 2006 issue, in which we discuss comic-making and transitioning from web to print:
