Dan is currently working with The New Republic's Michael Crowley on 08: A GRAPHIC DIARY OF THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL, a nonfiction comics memoir of the presidential primaries to be published by Crown Books in January 2009.

I kept clicking the link at Act-I-Vate, looking away and then wondering how I’d ended up back here. Sort of like a magic ladder in the floor that leads to a sea of tears. Strained simile, perhaps, but I’ll take it.
I like Max’s intrusion onto Kelly’s flashback. Reminds me of the very end of Brazil, when the floating head of Michael Palin intrudes onto Sam’s happy little psychotic break.

Thanks to all of you for popping in over here; I think the comic reads better (and shows bigger) using that Lightbox interface… it’s something we’re looking to do for the upcoming ACT-I-VATE website as well.
