Comic-Con was a smashing good time, loads of new friends and crusty old ones, signings and demos and a general electricity in the air that was more palpable than recent years. Everyone was so excited to see the preview booklet we were signing; it was like Anthony and I were the only ones with the secret knowledge of how much hotter the finished novel is… the anticipation leading up to November is probably going to be hardest on your favorite comic artist, truth be told.
Upon touching down in Brooklyn, there was a brief disco nap and then Lil and I pulled the ripcord on our sweltering Park Slope studio, landing in our bigger and airier new joint in South Williamsburg. As you can see, web access is back and new “KELLY” is already cooking; stay tuned my beautiful ones.
That pop-culture champuru that is the San Diego Comic-Con is nearly upon us, and I’m making a handful of appearances at Grand Central Publishing, our SHOOTING WAR publisher, as well as doing some live demos on Wacom’s interactive Cintiq pen display that I use to make these brightly-colored comics you treasure so deeply in your hearts. Please come and see me here:

The French-language comics magazine Comic Box interviews me in Issue #47; my gratitude to Lise Benkemoun for both the interview and her friendship and support over the years. You find find Comic Box at better comic shops across the US and Europe.
My fellow Americans:
Today begins a new dawn in ANTI-TERROR NAUGHTY FASHION as Dan Goldman and the United States of America happily announce the founding of the DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND MATURITY.

I’ve just added four new SHOOTING WAR prints to my shop; click the pic to have a look. And if there’s another panel you’d like to own, feel free to sound off in the comments. I am, as ever, listening intently.
This Monday night (7/17), I’ll be one of seven artists taking part in A Midsummer Night’s Scene, a little art+music happening in downtown NYC. I’ll have 5 art pieces on display of varying sizes. The space is a funky little pizzeria called L’Asso, so there will be free pizza and beer. Live music supplied by the *legendary* Cedric IM Brooks with vocal stylistics by our own JahFurry.
